Welcome to 2009!
As 2008 came to a close, we got busy at BBC and are excited to update you on a number of things. Under the “you may not have been aware” category—did you know that BBC provides SBIR/STTR training and assistance across many technology sectors—from alternative energy to advanced manufacturing—covering all federal agencies including DoD, NSF, DoE.
Yes, we still provide in-depth business development assistance in the life sciences but our SBIR/STTR services span the realm of SBIR/STTR clients’ needs. To help differentiate between our life science business development services and our SBIR/STTR programs, we have launched “BBCetc.” Under the BBCetc umbrella, you’ll find all things SBIR/STTR! We’ve created a new logo and will be updating our web site to make it easier for you to access us for your needs—Biotechnology Business Consultants AND BBCetc! One team with two sets of specific services. Check our web site over the next few months. We hope you like the changes. |

*BBC Offers New Workshop
Government accounting and grants management—two necessary functions once you receive federal funding. But like many things, it’s much easier if you address these issues before you have to!
At BBC we do more than help our clients develop and submit SBIR/STTR proposals; we also help with the post-submission issues and post-award administration. We’ve taken this experience and launched a new half-day course to cover the basics of government accounting and grants management. This is geared toward companies that are new to federal funding or would like to review "best practices."
Our first session was held in December 2008 and was over-subscribed! A second session will be held January 20, and we’d like to add more. If you’re interested in hosting a session, contact Kris Bergman at BBC. |
